Organizing your home or office is not an easy task. It may seem as if various items have compounded and there does not seem to be an escape route. Don't fret, there are ways to tame this monster.
HERE ARE A FEW TIPS TO GET STARTED...
1) Attack the tasks in increments. Rome was not built in a day and more than likely neither was the clutter. Take on one task at a time.
2) Use your time wisely. Do not try to devote a mass amount of work into a time frame. But what you can do is devote to a task in an increment of time.
Example: For 1 hour tackle the mail piled on the corner of your desk.
3)Go for the smallest task first. Trying to dive in head first to anything can be overwhelming. Go for the simple project and then work yourself upwards. Seeing any task completed gives you a since of completion and motivates you to keep going.
4) Get help. If you have a family or friends that like to stop by your place for weekly venting parties, put those hands to use. Divide up the room and assign tasks. Four or more hands are better than two.
